“We cannot mandate that every school district statewide switch to all-electric buses without providing our schools the financial support necessary to purchase new buses and upgrade the equipment and facilities needed to charge them. Until Governor Hochul can offer more than financial ‘incentives’ for our schools—incentives that do not cover one-tenth of the cost of these changes statewide—fully implementing the Electric School Bus Mandate throughout our state cannot happen.”
