Assemblyman John Mikulin (R,C-Bethpage) is asking on residents from the Assembly District 17 community and Long Island to donate pet food and supplies to pets in need this spring. Mikulin is once again partnering with Baxter’s Pet Pantry and Long Island Cares for the 13th Annual Legislative Food Drive Challenge. The drive officially began on March 18 and will end on May 10, 2024. There are seven drop-off locations around the district, and the rules for what donations can be dropped off are included in the flyer above.

“Pets are family too, so please donate today,” said Mikulin. “Whether it’s a small can of food or a new toy, all donations are welcome! I am very proud to partner with Long Island Cares and Baxter’s Pet Pantry again to make this year’s pet drive happen. I look forward to seeing the positive impact these donations and generosity from our community have on local pet shelters and animals in need. Thank you to everyone who participates this year!”
