Mikulin Continues to Call for Policy-Free Budget
A statement from Assemblyman John Mikulin (R, C,I-Bethage)
March 24, 2020
Seeing as we are currently in a public health crisis, now more than ever it is important for us to pass a budget that focuses on New Yorks finances and the economy. This means that no policy should be added in to deter from what matters most: keeping New York afloat. Budget negotiations are ongoing but proving to be difficult as the governor and Majority politicians continue to insist on putting policy-related issues in the budget. As Ive said before, I highly advise we move forward simply with the budget and come back at a later time to handle all other policy-related issues so we can discuss and debate them properly.
