“The news out of Syracuse of an unsanctioned weekend party that turned violent is deeply troubling and my heart goes out to the victims and their families. Cases like these prove our city and our state are still gripped by violence and many of the progressive policies put in place in the last few years continue to threaten public safety and do little to protect crime victims. I thank the brave Syracuse police officers who quickly responded to this situation and I’m hopeful that all suspects are brought to Justice.”
