Assemblymember McDonald Tours Tech Valley High School
December 18, 2015
Albany, N.Y. — Assemblymember John T. McDonald III had the honor of attending a tour of Albany’s Tech Valley High School. TVHS was launched in 2007, and was designed to be a four-year, regional high school program, that focuses mainly on project-based learning. Students at TVHS are able to interact with experts and present their work to peers, faculty and business members many times over throughout their high school careers.
Located on the campus of the Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute, TVHS works with local community partners to design, teach and assess classroom projects to ensure real-life relevancy.
Assemblymember McDonald was joined by Assemblymember Fahy on the tour on December 16.
