Giglio Comments On 10th Anniversary of 9/11
Statement from Assemblyman Joseph M. Giglio (R,I,C-Gowanda)
Today, we remember those who lost their lives in the unprecedented tragedy which befell our Nation exactly 10 years ago. We remember the sacrifices of the emergency first responders, military personnel, fellow citizens and their families. The United States of America and the State of New York will never forget those who were lost, those who were there to help and the loved ones who were left behind.
Today, we recall the meaning and blessing of their lives, with honor, pride and dignity. We must remember, because after all of the tears, pain and anguish, God’s grace will always prevail to guide and bring us to a new feeling of love, compassion and understanding. As a result, I know that our State and Nation will stand stronger today, on the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001. I know today, just as I did 10 years ago, that nothing can diminish the resolve of the people of this great and proud republic.
