Brown: Candy-Like THC Products Should Be Banned From The Market

A Statement from Assemblyman Keith P. Brown (R,C-Northport)

“To protect our children, THC products simply cannot be candy-like in appearance. When the presence of THC in a product is not communicated clearly on its packaging, there can be dangerous consequences, especially if the products happen to fall into younger hands. To help combat the spread of misleading candy-like THC products, I have co-sponsored a bill (A4934) that was introduced by my fellow Assemblymember and Chair of the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Committee, Phil Steck (D-Colonie), which aims to amend the cannabis law by prohibiting the sale or delivery of candy products containing THC in New York.”
