Brown Stands With New York State’s Legal Cannabis Industry and Supports Assembly Bill A.9520
A Statement from Assemblyman Keith P. “While selling cannabis products is legal in New York state and has been for some time now, businesses and sellers still need to follow all regulations associated with our state’s cannabis law. Selling cannabis products to the public is not a right, but a privilege. If sellers act irresponsibly or violate the cannabis law, this poses a direct risk to public safety and public health in our communities. I am proud to be a co-sponsor of Assemblymember Zaccaro, Jr.’s proposal, and I will continue to advocate for policies like this that will help protect consumers and encourage businesses to always act in their best interest.”
