Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush (R,C- Black River) stands with legislators on both sides of the aisle urging Governor Hochul to end the unlawful practice of withholding donated tax check-off funds from veteran service agencies. Following an audit from the comptroller's office, this illegal withholding of funds was discovered by the Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs.

“This is outrageous. It is clear funds have already been allocated towards veterans service agencies, so why aren't they being released? Veterans are the backbone of our nation, and I will continue to fight to ensure they are treated with respect and given opportunities in New York,” said Blankenbush.
