Blankenbush: Brian Peck Joining My Team
Will Serve As Chief of Staff in Assembly Office
Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush (R,C-Black River) has announced that Brian Peck will join his Assembly office as Chief of Staff. Peck has been employed as Operations Director for State Senator Patty Ritchie.
“Brian’s knowledge of agriculture, business and Fort Drum convinced me that he would be a real asset to my efforts to serve the people of the 122nd Assembly District,” Blankenbush said. “His background and knowledge of the everyday issues facing our region will prove invaluable as we respond to constituent needs.”
“My staff and I will miss Brian, but I congratulate the Assemblyman for recognizing his organizational skills and knowledge about the issues facing the North Country,” said Ritchie. “Brian was one of my go-to people, but I know we’ll continue to have opportunities to work together in the future.”
“I want to thank Senator Ritchie for the opportunity she gave me to learn how New York State and the state legislature work,” Peck said. “Ken’s position as the ranking minority member on the Assembly Agriculture Committee and his role as an advocate for our region’s military and small businesses is a natural fit with my own interests.”
Peck and his wife, Sarah Ketchum Peck, have two children, Luke and Ethan. He grew up in Carthage and graduated from Jefferson Community College and the State University of New York at Brockport. He is a former associate dean at Davis College and is an avid outdoorsman.
