Blankenbush Applauds Bipartisan Effort To Help With Flood Recovery In The Mohawk Valley
Statement from Ken Blankenbush (R,C,I-Black River)
July 17, 2013
“I stand with Gov. Cuomo and my Senate and Assembly colleagues in pledging $3 million in individual flood aid to Oneida County residents, small businesses and farmers. While we are grateful for the assistance from FEMA to our municipalities, we know that we need to do more to help those who are greatly impacted by the heavy rains and flooding.
“I am glad to say that New York will step up during this critical time in disaster recovery. I would like to continue giving thanks to all the volunteers, first responders and government employees who are helping my constituents during this trying and difficult time.
“Together, I know that our communities will rebuild stronger and be more resilient in the near future.”
