“The disastrous Green Light Law restricts federal law enforcement agencies, such as ICE and Homeland Security, from having access to the DMV database. By restricting their access to the database, the governor and New York State Majority is creating dangerous roadblocks to our public safety. ICE isn’t asking for a list of all illegal immigrants in the state, the agency is just requesting access to the DMV database in order to successfully do their job: keep us safe.
