“The racist flier found in an innocent Lindenhurst family’s mailbox is sickening. We all have the right to feel safe in our homes and our communities, and this crime is a violation of that right. While the Suffolk County Police work to hold whoever committed this crime accountable, I stand with Lindenhurst and all of Suffolk County to send the message that our community is stronger than hate.

“Racism and hate will not be tolerated. All families are welcome in our community, regardless of the color of their skin or their background. This crime is personal for me, and I will not allow my community to be defined by such intolerable acts.”
