New York State Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre (D-Babylon) recently hosted a Breakfast with Santa event at Holy Trinity Baptist Church in North Amityville. The event featured an assortment of hot breakfast foods, beverages, desserts, professional photos with Santa, Christmas music and dancing. Invitations were extended to struggling families from the area, including those staying at local shelters, and every child in attendance left with a gift bag featuring items collected through Jean-Pierre’s ‘Toys for Tots’ holiday toy drive.
“I am so appreciative for the outpouring of support from our sponsors as well as Holy Trinity Baptist Church, who helped make this event possible. It was wonderful to share a Saturday morning breakfast with so many familiar faces from the local community, and I would like to thank everyone who donated to our holiday toy drive, reminding us that the holiday season is a time for giving.”
