“As a member of the Assembly Judiciary Committee, the former governor’s book deal and whether state resources were used to publish and promote it was a significant part of our independent investigation into possible grounds for impeachment. JCOPE adopted our investigation findings that Cuomo didn’t receive necessary approval before writing the book, and then didn’t abide by requirements that he not use state employees or resources writing and editing it.
