Walsh Presents Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo with Seven Seals Award
On Tuesday, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) joined Emil Baker and Hy Taylor the U.S. Department of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to present Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo with the ‘Seven Seals Award’ in the Assembly Chamber.
The ‘Seven Seals Award’ recognizes significant individual or organizational achievement, initiatives, or support that promotes the ESGR mission including the efforts of more than 3,600 volunteers across the country.
“Sheriff Zurlo is a pillar of our Saratoga County community, and I was proud to participate in this morning’s presentation of the ‘Seven Seals Award.’ Whether it’s employing members of the New York State Guard and Reserves or promoting employer outreach, recruitment and boss lifts, Sheriff Zurlo has demonstrated unwavering commitment to our military and veterans. He leads our county law enforcement with dignity, class and respect which all coincide with the ESGR mission. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Sheriff!” said Walsh.
Sheriff Zurlo was joined by Tom Mitchell of the New York State Sheriff’s Association and Under Sheriff Richard Castle, Chief Glen Sheehy and Captain Kevin Herrick of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department.
