Walsh Collects More Than a Tractor Trailer Full of Electronic Devices
Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) partnered with Glenville business EWASTE+ for an electronic recycling event today in Ballston Spa. This event was the second of three drive-thru style spring-cleaning events being held for residents of the 112th Assembly District. The free event allowed residents to safely dispose of their old and unneeded electronics.
“With the amount of electronics embedded in our daily lives today, it’s no wonder this spring-cleaning event continues to grow every year. It’s a reminder that services such as this are needed, and it’s essential we prioritize disposing of all electronics in an environmentally friendly way,” Walsh said.
“Thank you to every resident who came out to participate, to EWASTE+ for your ongoing partnership, to the volunteers who helped out and to those at the Saratoga County Building for hosting and making this event a huge success! Remember to start collecting for next year!” Walsh concluded.
The third and final spring-cleaning event will be held tomorrow, April 14, at Dockstader Recreation Park in the town of Galway, where Walsh will be joined by 3N Document Destruction for a shredding event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
