Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) took the oath of office today to begin her fifth term in the New York State Assembly. The private ceremony was conducted by her husband, Hon. James E. “I am deeply grateful for the trust and support of the communities I serve across the 112th Assembly District and for allowing me to continue standing up for them in Albany,” said Walsh. “It’s also an incredible honor to be appointed Assembly Minority Leader Pro Tempore, and I’m eager to get back to Albany and hit the ground running for the constituents of the 112th and all New Yorkers.”
Walsh now serves as the secretary of the American-Irish Legislators Society, a member of the Legislative Women’s Caucus and a member of the Assembly Committees on Judiciary and Ways and Means.
