Walsh Weighs In On NYS Procurement Integrity Act
A statement from Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I,Ref-Ballston)
April 25, 2017
“Today, the New York State Senate sensibly took up a bill designed to enhance the integrity, transparency and accountability of the state’s procurement process. While these initiatives were curiously absent in this year’s late budget, I am pleased to see my colleagues in the Senate finally addressing what is, in my opinion, one of this session’s top priorities – ethics reform. This type of legislation offers us the opportunity to provide New Yorkers with a clear report of how millions of their tax dollars are being spent, and I will remain committed in my support of these measures through the final weeks of session and beyond.”
