Walsh To Partner with Toys for Tots
Toy drive donations will be accepted at the Assemblywoman’s district office
To celebrate the season of giving, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I-Ballston) will be partnering with Capital Region Toys for Tots for its annual holiday toy drive. Toys and gifts will be accepted at Walsh’s district office through December 23, offering residents across the Capital Region an opportunity to help children and families in need this year.
In 2018, the Capital Region Toys for Tots Campaign was selected as the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots National Campaign of the Year. Additionally, Vinny Roman and Patrick Lurenz, both residents of the Town of Glenville and the two Marines assigned as Coordinators have also been selected as the National Marine LCO Coordinators of the year.
Walsh joins a strong list of local participants in this year’s toy drive, which promises to bring holiday cheer to several less fortunate local children. Residents interested in participating in this year’s charitable efforts are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to Walsh’s district office, located at the following address:
199 Milton Avenue
Suite 3-4
Ballston Spa, NY 12020

“Many families are facing financial hardships and setbacks as a result of COVID-19, which is why it’s more important than ever for those that are fortunate enough to enjoy the holiday season with their families contribute what they can to help to spread cheer to the many families around us who could use a helping hand,” said Walsh. “I am proud to partner with Capital Region Toys for Tots, a fantastic organization that continues to help countless local children by promoting their worthy and generous efforts throughout the 112th Assembly District.
“It is extremely heartwarming to see a community come together to make a real difference for those in need, especially in these challenging times that COVID-19 has presented. I encourage anyone who is able to participate in this year’s toy drive to help us make a child’s holiday wish come true.”
