This spring, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I-Ballston) hosted three drive-thru style Free Spring-Cleaning Events. The electronic recycling event with E-WASTE + was the third and final drive-thru style Free Spring-Cleaning Event held in the 112^th Assembly District.

“I couldn’t be more delighted with the success of our first ever Spring-Cleaning Event Series here in the 112^th Assembly District,” said Walsh. “Today, with the help of approximately 200 participants, we filled a tractor trailer and a half and the E-WASTE+ team estimated nearly 20,000 pounds of electronic materials to recycle!

“Cabinets, drawers and closets are a little less cluttered – and I couldn’t believe the number of residents that took advantage of these events to safely get rid of prescriptions, shred confidential documents and dispose of old electronics. Thank you to all of the community partners and locations for working to help make each of these events a great success!”
