Assemblyman Matt Slater (R,C-Yorktown) recently celebrated Westchester Tractor Inc.’s official induction into the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry after successfully nominating the Westchester business for the statewide honor. Slater also presented the company with a New York State Assembly proclamation recognizing both its induction into the Registry and 50 years of serving customers throughout the Hudson Valley.

Founded in 1976, Westchester Tractor has spent the past five decades providing everything from heavy construction equipment to compact landscape tractors. In nominating the company, Slater recognized its longstanding commitment to serving homeowners, contractors, municipalities and businesses across the region. Following the state’s approval, Westchester Tractor became one of New York’s newest Historic Business Preservation Registry honorees.
