New York State Assemblyman Michael Durso recently honored seven local women at his 3^rd Annual New York State Women of Distinction Ceremony. These extraordinary women are leaders, innovators and role models from diverse backgrounds and fields. They were selected for their professional accomplishments, personal achievements, and contributions to their communities.

“I was proud to pay tribute to these seven remarkable women who have excelled in their professions and have had a positive impact in our communities,” said Assemblyman Durso. “These women are excellent role models for our next generation of young women to look to for inspiration and motivation. I would also like to thank the Massapequa High School String Ensemble and Massapequa High School student, Isabella Corigliano, for their moving performances. And a special thank you to my team for helping make this event a success.”
