Assemblyman Michael Durso (Massapequa Park) is inviting the local community to participate in his Pet Food Drive to help more pets stay out of shelters and remain at home with their families-where they belong.

Assemblyman Durso hopes residents and community organizations will kindly provide unopened bags of dog and cat food, canned food, pet supplies, and food for other animals such as hamsters and birds.All items collected will be given to Baxter’s Pet Pantry, operated by Long Island Cares, which provides free pet food and pet supplies to pet-owning families in need in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
