“This week my colleagues in the Assembly Minority Conference and I also introduced legislation to protect our state’s small businesses by introducing the Small Business Emergency Recovery Act of 2020. Our plan would funnel $890 million in existing state resources into immediate relief for New York’s small employers, delay taxes and fees for 180 days, and offer zero percent loans to small businesses to ensure they can continue to make payroll.
