Assembly Opens Confidential Impeachment Investigation Hotline

Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R,C,I,LBT-Glen Head) is announcing that the Assembly has opened a confidential hotline regarding the impeachment investigation of Gov. Cuomo so the public might be able to provide information about the actions or conduct of the governor. Currently, the Assembly Judiciary Committee, of which Montesano is the ranking Minority member, is looking into the governor’s decisions regarding the underreported deaths in nursing homes due to COVID-19, his actions with nursing homes during the pandemic in general, giving his relatives and friends priority testing for COVID-19, and the numerous sexual harassment allegations.

“During this time, I think it is crucial we provide an avenue for the public to share information about the governor in regard to the ongoing investigations,” said Montesano. “Given all that has occurred, I think hearing from the people is important.”

To provide tips or evidence, the public can call (212) 450-3600 or email NY.Assembly.Investigation@davispok.com to contact the law firm leading the investigation, Davis Polk & Wardwell.
