Queens, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) partnered with New York City Council Member Linda Lee, New York State Senator John Liu, and the Lower East Side Ecology Center to host an e-waste recycling event outside P.S. Q004 in Fresh Meadows. Over 200 residents disposed of old phones, computers, televisions, chargers, and various other miscellaneous electronic items totaling two truckloads’ worth of items. The collected electronics will be recycled and repurposed instead of ending up in landfills.
