Announcing The Restoration Of Service On The Q27 And Q30

On January 4th, I joined the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1056, State Senator Tony Avella, Assemblywoman Barbara Clark, Assemblyman David Weprin, Assemblyman Ron Kim, Councilman Mark Weprin and Councilman Ruben Willis to announce the restoration of service on crucial bus routes including the Q27 and Q30.

This is the first step of many that must be taken - I will continue to fight for better public transit options for our community.

Visiting The East West School

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to visit the East-West School of International Studies in Flushing. These exceptional students are taking part in a program called Rachel's Challenge which teaches the importance of looking for the best in others and dreaming big.
