Rozic Celebrates Inauguration with Community

Queens – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Flushing) gathered with city, state and federal elected officials, community leaders and members, and family today at Townsend Harris High School to celebrate her inauguration as a Member of the State Assembly. Amongst the many distinguished guests to congratulate her were US Senator Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Grace Meng.

Assemblywoman Rozic said, “I am truly honored and humbled to have been elected to represent the 25th Assembly District. It’s been an extraordinary year, for our state and country, and an incredible time for me to get to work to make our community a better place to live, work, and raise a family. I look forward to serving my constituents to bring better, quality education to our schools, affordable health care for our seniors and accessible services for our growing immigrant communities.”

Assemblywoman Nily Rozic was elected to the 25th Assembly District in November 2012, representing neighborhoods in northeast Queens, including Flushing, Queensboro Hill, Hillcrest, Fresh Meadows, Oakland Gardens, Bayside Hills and parts of Douglaston
