May 16, 2016
Albany, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) met with Transportation Alternatives and Families for Safe Streets while in Albany this week to discuss support for pedestrian safety measures such as the speed safety campaign that would protect all NYC school children through a speed limit enforcement. Rozic’s meeting with Families for Safe Streets co-founder Amy Tam-Liao and advocates follows her recent push to strengthen pedestrian safety at the Blossom Avenue and Main Street intersection in Flushing that is currently without traffic calming measures.
