Flushing, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) met with high school students currently working as Korean Americans for Civic Empowerment (KACE) interns. KACE, an organization committed to increasing civic participation and voter turnout in the Korean American community, offers a summer internship where local students can learn more about the role of government and pathways to participation. Rozic discussed her work as a New York State Assemblywoman, the importance of voting, and encouraged the interns to remain active in their local communities.
