Queens, NY – In response to the news of the passing of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) issued the following statement:

As someone who has come to know the BAPS community and the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Flushing, I know Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s commitment and dedication to humanity as a global spiritual leader will continue to thrive through the actions, compassion, and spirit of our community. My thoughts and prayers are with the BAPS community, his devotees, and friends during this reflective time.”
