Albany, NY – On opening day of the 2017 Legislative Session, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) took her oath of office alongside colleagues in the Assembly chambers. Today, Rozic officially begins her third term representing the 25th District. She serves on the Assembly’s Children and Families, Corporations, Authorities and Commissions, Correction, Environmental Conservation, and Labor Committees. Rozic is a member of the Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic & Asian Legislative Caucus and the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Force, and most recently was appointed Chair of the Subcommittee on Emerging Workforce.
