Rozic to Host Mobile Office Hours across District 25
Queens, NY – Today, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Flushing) kicks off her annual summer mobile office tour. This month, the assemblywoman's office will take her mobile office to neighborhoods across eastern Queens. The tour will include stops at local businesses, senior centers, and popular neighborhood spots in an effort to provide families with the opportunity to meet with Assemblywoman Rozic and discuss concerns in the community.
“Every day, my staff and I work hard to be accountable to the community and assist in any problem large or small,” Rozic said. “Holding mobile office hours lets families voice their concerns at times that suit their schedule, and makes government more readily available. I encourage everyone to take advantage of these stops to address the quality of life concerns affecting their neighborhood.”
As in years past, Rozic and her staff will set up tables at various locations in the community to provide help to constituents in dealing with government agencies or addressing quality of life concerns.
Rozic’s office will also have information on hand to inform families on topics ranging from city parking regulations and crime prevention tips, to voter registration forms and civics information for area students.
The tour includes the following stops:
Oakland Gardens: July 17th from 12 – 2 p.m. at Oakland Gardens Shopping Center, Springfield Boulevard & Horace Harding Expressway
Bayside: July 21st from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Bayside Library, 214-20 Northern Boulevard
Fresh Meadows: July 24th from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Starbucks, 61-51 188th Street
Douglaston: July 31st 17 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Fairway Market, 242-21 61 Avenue
Flushing: August 17th from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Benjamin Rosenthal Selfhelp Senior Center, 45-25 Kissena Boulevard
In addition to these locations, Rozic continues to welcome constituents to visit her Flushing district office at 159-16 Union Turnpike.
Rozic welcomes the opportunity to answer questions about her work on behalf of families in eastern Queens, as well as hear what’s on people’s minds.
“Whatever the issue, I look forward to meeting with everyone and working together to build a better future,” added Rozic.
