Flushing, NY– Today, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) joined the Flushing community in celebrating the re-opening of the Queens Library Queensboro Hill branch. The library had been closed up until recently for roof renovations. Rozic was joined by Council Member Peter Koo, Community Board 7 District Manager Marilyn McAndrews, and Queens Library CEO Dennis Walcott for the occasion, as well as representatives from Congresswoman Grace Meng’s and State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky’s offices. Rozic has long supported the upkeep of local libraries – recognizing their importance as centers that prioritize literacy and offer access to a wide variety of public programming for community members of all ages.
