Washington, D.C. – Today while in Washington, D.C., Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) met with Congresswoman Grace Meng (D-Queens). Rozic was in the D.C. area attending a conference for women state legislators. The lawmakers discussed ongoing work in their districts and collaborative efforts to improve services to the community. As uncertainty over healthcare, immigration, and funding come out of Washington, Rozic and Meng discussed the importance of standing together to protect the Queens community and New Yorkers across the state.
