Albany, NY– While in Albany this week, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) welcomed newly elected colleagues to the Assembly Majority following last week’s special election. Rozic was joined by Queens Assemblywomen Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Rockaway), Alicia Hyndman (D-Springfield), and Vivian Cook (D-Jamaica) in welcoming the newest member of the Queens Delegation, Assemblywoman Aridia Espinal (D-Jackson Heights). Espinal, who represents the 39th Assembly District, joins Rozic and several other elected women across the City in setting a historic level of Latina women serving in the State Legislature.
