Assemblywoman Rozic, Acting Queens Borough President Lee Meet in Albany

Albany, NY On the first day of the 2020 legislative session, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) was joined by Acting Queens Borough President and constituent, Sharon Lee. Lee was appointed as Deputy Borough President in November 2018 and became the first Asian American to serve in that capacity.
Today marks the opening day of the 243rd legislative session and Rozics 8th year representing Assembly District 25 in Albany. Rozic represents the communities of Flushing, Queensboro Hill, Hillcrest, Fresh Meadows, Oakland Gardens, Bayside, and Douglaston. She serves as Chair of the Office of State-Federal Relations and on the Assemblys Ways & Means; Labor; Energy; Correction; and Corporations, Authorities and Commissions Committees.
