Assemblymember Hunter: Assembly Budget Invests $2.1 Billion More in Education
March 10, 2016
“Our budget proposal would make critical investments in our children’s education because for too long, our schools have been bearing the brunt of the fiscal crisis, resulting in drastic cuts to essential programs and personnel. This needs to end.
“Our Assembly budget completely eliminates the GEA and provides additional Foundation Aid to our schools. We have a responsibility to our communities and our children, and I will continue to fight until we fulfill our obligations and provide every child with an education that prepares them to be successful in the future.”
