After serving our nation in U.S. Army, it is now a privilege to have been appointed as the Chair of the Assembly Subcommittee on Women Veterans. Although we have accomplished a great deal in breaking down many barriers for women in the military, much more needs to be done on every level of government for our veterans. It is our responsibility to ensure they receive the best available services and support when they return home.
