Chludzinski Appointed to Education Budget Committee

Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski (R,C-Cheektowaga) has been appointed by Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) to serve as an alternate on the Education Budget Committee, where he will play a key role in shaping policies and funding decisions that impact students, teachers and schools across New York state.

“As a strong advocate for students, parents and educators, I am honored to join the Education Budget Committee to fight for responsible funding that prioritizes quality education without burdening taxpayers,” said Chludzinski. “New York continues to spend more per student than nearly any other state, yet many of our schools are struggling. We need accountability, transparency and a budget that truly serves our children, not bureaucrats in Albany.”

In this role, Chludzinski will work to ensure education funding is distributed fairly, fight for resources that directly benefit classrooms and advocate for policies that empower parents and local school districts. With growing concerns over school safety, curriculum transparency and the need for workforce-ready education, he is committed to delivering solutions that put students first.

“I am honored to be appointed by Leader Barclay and look forward to remaining vigilant and ensuring our schools receive the proper funding they deserve.”

Chludzinski will continue pushing for policies that expand educational opportunities, strengthen parental rights and ensure every student has access to a high-quality education, regardless of their ZIP code.
