‘The Gray Area’ Discusses Forthcoming Tourism Tour and District Visits This Week
Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown) released the latest episode of “The Gray Area” video series. In this week’s episode, Gray discusses the development of his statewide tourism tour, and the events and visits with constituents in the 116th district this past week.
“As ranking Minority member of the tourism committee, I’m excited to continue work on my statewide tourism tour where I have been traveling around the state, highlighting some of the great areas of our state to visit. The goal of the tour is to furthermore extract legislative ideas from different stakeholders throughout the state, which will do a lot to enhance tourism all over the state. I look forward to showing you what New York state has to offer, so stay tuned for information coming soon on upcoming stops,” Gray said.
“It was a great week back in the district visiting and working with constituents. It was a pleasure to meet with Bishop Terry LaValley of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg. Also, Operation Yellow Ribbon’s annual concert in the park was on Thursday, June 29 with the Orchestra of Northern New York. This free concert is a salute to our troops for all they have done to defend our freedom and is always attended by thousands of people who come together to celebrate. Thank you to everybody who came out.”
“As we gather with our friends and families over the holiday weekend for Independence Day, we are reminded of our shared values and perseverance of the American dream for future generations. As your state representative, this is what I work for every day—for the now and for the next generation as well. Have a fun and safe Fourth of July with family and friends.”
“Look out for next week’s episode of The Gray Area as we continue to update you on what you care about. I will also be updating you on the Tourism Tour, so keep a look out for more information. We always appreciate the opportunity to serve you and to work with you.
Don’t hesitate to call my office staff with questions, comments or concerns—see you soon,” Gray concluded.
