I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Long. For decades, Mike was a giant in New York politics and a champion for the working-class families of the state.

His voice and guidance have influenced countless individuals, and his leadership was instrumental for so many of us who had the privilege of working alongside him. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

On behalf of the entire Assembly Minority Conference, I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to Mike’s family and loved ones during this solemn time.
