Barclay’s Office Collects Donations for Troops

Assemblyman Will Barclay’s office recently assisted the Ladies Auxiliary and the Pulaski VFW Post 7289 in collecting items to send to active military troops in Afghanistan again this year. The office collected boxes of personal care items, breakfast bars, candy, monetary donations, movies and activity pads. The office received cards and letters, too, from students at Volney Elementary School in Fulton.

“Thank you to everyone who donated items to the troops. And thank you especially to the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary in Pulaski who always see that these troops have care packages from people back home. We’re honored to be a part of this collection drive,” said Barclay. “Thank you also to the Town of Camillus for assisting us again in this item drive, and letting people drop their items for donations off at the Town Hall.”
