SENIOR CENTERS
Assemblyman
William Colton:

“Tough times call for tough measures, but jeopardizing seniors’ quality of life wasn’t an option. We have a responsibility to care for the men and women who made our communities great.”

When the state’s $10 billion deficit threatened to close the doors to our senior centers, Assemblyman William Colton fought back. He knows that now, more than ever, older New Yorkers look to senior centers for nutritious meals, health and wellness activities, and social events. That’s why he voted in favor of a state budget that restores $25 million to New York City senior centers, preserving the resources seniors depend on to continue leading happy, healthy lives.
