REFORM AGENDA FOR NEW YORK
Ken Zebrowski signed the “Pledge for Change,” a reform plan put forth by good government advocates that would:
-
Create more independent and powerful ethics “watchdog” commissions.
-
Close campaign finance loopholes.
-
Institute fairness in “member items” and “redistricting.”
-
End “pay to play” practices for lobbyists and companies with government contracts.
-
Increase transparency of both government finances and campaign contributions.
-
Increase penalties for violations of ethics and campaign laws.
