Assemblyman Zebrowski helped foster economic development and boost job creation by:
  • Enhancing the Excelsior Jobs Program to encourage private sector job creation via tax credits
  • The Mid-Hudson regional council has already begun sculpting a plan to develop and promote region specific resources of the Hudson Valley competing for $1 billion of state grants for the area
  • Establishing Recharge New York to help businesses reduce energy costs to attract new businesses and produce stable, good-paying jobs
Pro-business laws supported by Assemblyman Zebrowski:
  • Capital Assistance Program (CAP) – giving small businesses greater access to capital to create a better business climate across the state and bring jobs to the area (Ch. 103 of 2011)
  • Innovate New York – providing “seed money” to companies that develop cutting-edge technology and create new high-tech jobs (Ch. 103 of 2011)
  • Power New York – helping retool and reinvent power plants in Rockland County to create jobs and put our region on the road to a more sustainable future (Ch. 388 of 2011)
