Community Happenings with Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli

Assemblyman Magnarelli presided over a hearing on October 13, 2006 in Syracuse
hosted by the Assembly Standing Committees on Cities; Economic Development;
Job Creation, Commerce and Industry; Oversight, Analysis and Investigation; and
Tourism, Arts and Sports Development. This hearing was held for an investigation
into the recent financial problems of upstate cities in New York State. Pictured are,

Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli was present during the Bill-Leaf Brandi Woods Law signing
by Governor George Pataki on October 31, 2006. This law increased the penalties for
repeat drunk drivers. Assemblyman Magnarelli was the prime sponsor of this bill in the
