Hawley To Honor Inaugural Master Gardeners Tour

First Cornell Cooperative Extension's Orleans Master Gardener Tour Kicks Off Saturday

Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R, C, I - Batavia) will be presenting a citation to honor the Orleans County Master Gardeners' Club, part of Cornell Cooperative Extension, as they kick off their first annual Master Gardeners' Tour this Saturday.

The citation will be presented at the residence of Mary Shuler, whose garden is one of the stops on the county-wide tour. The inaugural event includes tours of the gardens of members of the Master Gardeners' Club, who aim to beautify the county. The event is already being dubbed as one of the most successful tourist events, with more than 20 percent of ticket sales coming from outside Orleans County.
