Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay And Conference Members Honor New York State Trooper Rick Albert

Earlier this week, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski), and other members of the Assembly gathered with New York State Trooper Rick Albert who was shot on duty while conducting traffic. On June 16, 2023, Rick Albert pulled over a vehicle that was going over 100 mph on I 88 in Duanesburg. When he approached the vehicle, the man inside fired upon Albert, striking him in the arm. Incidents like this should not be tolerated under any circumstances, and Rick Albert is a prime example of a dedicated public servant who puts his life on the line for us every day. It is critical to remember and honor the sacrifices these officers make to protect our communities.
